March Favourites

March Favourites ♡

Seeing as it's the end of March I thought why not jump on the bandwagon and show you my monthly favourites. I love seeing other peoples and it often ends in me buying at least one thing to try out for myself!

My first favourite technically counts as two things but I wanted to write about them both as most of the time I use them together and they are an absolute dream!

I had never used a primer for foundation before but I had been wanting to try one for quite a while so when I saw the new Rimmel one I couldn't refuse. It goes on smoothly and makes your skin feel so soft....always a bonus! You can see a difference in your skin with just the primer on, it brightens skin and eliminates redness. This means for lazy days this product is great on its own.

I then use the 25 hour foundation on top and let me tell you I have spent more money than I care to admit on trying to find the right foundation. I can get dry skin however my T Zone tends to be quite oily so finding a foundation that balanced out the two started to seem impossible. Coming across a foundation that promised to last the whole day intrigued me. I put this on on top of the primer and it works a dream, it lasts the whole day and leaves me with minimum shine. It even survives my gym workouts and that definitely means it's a winner for me!

I love reading however I am quite picky when it comes to finding something I really love! I watched Mortal Instruments for the first time at the beginning of the month and I've been obsessed ever since, I knew I had to read the book. I'm half way through reading it and I have completely fell in love with the franchise (and Jace)! The book is so well written and honestly I never thought it was something I would enjoy but you can't judge a book by its cover, eh? I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good fantasy story!

Cadburys Mini Eggs -
How can these not be in my monthly favourites?! They are only available around Easter and they are honestly my favourite thing ever. I lose all ability to say no when they are on offer for a pound EVERYWHERE I go!

H&M Floral Kimono - (Unfortunately I couldn't find the link to this)
My fashion favourite of the month is my kimono. It was £12.99 from H&M which in my opinion is worth every penny. I bought it in the effort to add more colour to my wardrobe and steer away from the knitted jumpers I've been hibernating in all winter. It is one of those purchases that I know I will not regret.

The floral pattern is made up of fuscia and baby pinks and it really does scream spring! It's very versatile which means I can wear it for work, at the weekend or for an evening out. I know that it will get so much wear out of it this spring and I'm looking forward to building up a collection of kimonos!

I am aware this photo doesn't show you the kimono as well as it could, however it was quite hard to capture it and all it's beauty. You'll just have to go out and buy your own to truly appreciate it!

If you have managed to read all of this then thank you, I hope you've enjoyed it! I also wanted to say thank you for all of your lovely support on my last blog post, I'm super excited to finally be doing this and to see what the future brings!
